ENHANCED DISCLOSURES The process of our coaches going through Disclosure Scotland is now well under way, with clubs requesting In-House meetings with Additional Signatories to get them through the process, Hunterfield and Hillfield Swifts being the first. As an Additional Signatory I am happy to attend such meetings to aid in the signing-off of club officials. As a guide, this is the process :
To have your Enhanced Disclosure done ALL Club Officials MUST HAVE with them the following:
These must have documents are a minimum requirement of SYFA / Disclosure Scotland, and not the Association. If you have a Disclosure form PLEASE DO NOT fill it out prior to any meeting. There are a lot of mistakes being made, and a new form has to be issued. It is better to all do it together. Should any : Team / Age Group / Club, require Disclosure please contact the General Secretary or any other Additional Signatory, and we will be happy to help. Failure to go through this process may result in you not being able to :
As an Association affiliated to the SYFA we are duty bound to follow this procedure, and as responsible adults we must ensure that all of our players are offered the level of protection they deserve. January 2006 CODES OF CONDUCT ESSDA plans to adopt the following Codes of Conduct as best practice for all Clubs within the Association.
